Dembélé Fit for Champions League Second Leg as PSG Prepare to Face Arsenal

French Forward Back in Training After Hamstring Concern

Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a major boost ahead of their Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal, with star forward Ousmane Dembélé declared fit by manager Luis Enrique.

The 27-year-old, who scored the only goal in the first leg at Emirates Stadium, had sparked concern after limping off in the second half. He missed PSG’s Ligue 1 defeat to Strasbourg at the weekend but resumed full training on Monday and completed another session on Tuesday.

“He’s been training with us for the last two days,” Enrique confirmed. “You saw him today — normal session, no issues. He’ll be available on Wednesday.”

PSG’s Top Scorer Ready for Crucial Return

Dembélé has been a standout performer this season, leading the club’s scoring charts with 33 goals in all competitions since joining from Barcelona in 2023. His early strike in the first leg has given PSG a slender advantage heading into the return fixture in Paris.

The France international’s availability will be vital as the Parisians aim to book their place in the Champions League final, with Arsenal needing at least one goal to stay in the tie.

Arsenal Face Tough Task in Paris

After narrowly falling behind in the first leg, Arsenal will have to produce a near-perfect performance to overturn the deficit. The return of Dembélé — who brings explosive pace and creativity — only makes the challenge tougher for Mikel Arteta’s side.

With a packed Parc des Princes expected and PSG chasing their first European crown since 1994, all eyes will be on the French capital on Wednesday night.
